Rotary Club of Oakville West Fellowship Golf Tournament

Golf Tournament

While most organizations were cancelling their golf tournaments due to the uncertainty of the Pandemic, James forged ahead and came up with the idea of holding the first Annual Rotary Fellowship Golf Tournament.  James proposed a fellowship tournament to the Rotary Club of Oakville West as a way of safely bringing people out for a fun afternoon of Golf and Fellowship.   James approached his contacts in the community with opportunities to sponsor a hole or donate a door prize.   So many of the business James contacted said they could not sponsor a hole due to the Pandemic.  In James leadership style he offered a free “Supporter” sign for those businesses to ensure that the name of their business received some well visibility along the golf course. The tournament was a huge success with over 60 golfers, a shotgun start and a box lunch provided by the Oakville Executive Golf Club.
